tAckLing menTal Health cancer patients and their families: digital solutions for bEtter cAre is a web-based platform designed to screen and address mental health issues in cancer patients and their caregivers. It offers systematic screenings to identify at-risk individuals and provides tailored psychological support. The platform also equips healthcare providers with resources for early detection and personalized care, improving mental well-being throughout the cancer journey.

GAMIAN-Europe’s role involves in project coordiantion and management, risk management, stakeholder engagement, policy outreach, as well as patient advocacy, ethics, legal and regulation oversight committee, represent the perspectives of end-users (patients, caregivers, families) to inform the platform’s design, features, and user experience. review and approve ethical documentation, such as informed consent forms; collect and review feedback from patients and caregivers during the development process, ensuring their concerns and preferences are addressed. GAMIAN-Europe also focuses on mental health with experience in setting up dissemination, exploitation, communication plans and tools (e.g. website, social media). Gamian will contribute to the Althea project by managing the dissemination activities to a broad audience of associations/organisation in the EU related to (mental) health care.
