Participate in Our Survey on Suicidality Among Older Adults – Deadline: 3rd September

GAMIAN-Europe and AGE Platform Europe are collaborating on a project aimed at raising awareness about suicidality among older adults and practices that can help prevent it. This survey is part of a series of research activities that will culminate in a position paper for World Suicide Prevention Day.

We are seeking individuals who have had lived experiences with suicidality, including past suicidal thoughts, intentions, and attempts among people aged 60 and over. We are also looking for professionals who have worked with older adults who have experienced suicidality, or family members of such individuals.

Note: The survey results will be anonymized, and only the countries and/or professional profiles (if you are a professional) of selected responses will be made public in the final report.

The position paper will be released on the 10th of September across our social media channels and under our publications section
